The waffle maker is easy to use but does not seem to brown completely evenly. It is not so bad that I would send it back. If it were another type of item I would just turn the waffle over mid cooking, but that won't work in this case. Our old waffle maker was purchased 55 yrs ago and still works. We just wanted a newer modlel.

This waffle iron works really well. It's difficult to find a waffle iron that doesn't Belgium style waffles. I had this same iron for nearly 20 years before it broke and was happy to find it again. I make several waffles at a time and freeze them. It's very economical, I just wish Cuisinart made a regular waffle the makes multiple at a time. I recommend this item for anyone looking for a regular waffle maker that will make everything from soft and fluffy to dark and crispy.

I just love this waffle maker. The price was great and it works well. It just takes a few minutes to make one waffle. I wish it had interchangeable plates like hearts for Valentine's Day. Very easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

Light weight but the lever has too much play

It's a nice little waffle maker. It's very light weight so it's not a chore taking it out and using it. It makes very nice waffles. The only criticism I have is the lever for the browning settings is really loose. I don't know if I'm at 4 or 5 because it has that much play.
