For an inexpensive little appliance this works moderately well. I have to use a 4 or 5 setting to get the waffles nicely browned. The vertical storage feature is a good one.

This is a simple yet perfect waffle iron. It heats up fast and can be adjusted to whatever crispness you like. We make perfect waffles on Setting 4. When the light turns green we have crispy, perfect waffles.
