It works fine but the lid/bottom hinge is wobbly. The slide to increase doneness is very loose and doesn’t feel solid. I have had several Cuisinart products for as long as the late 70s when I purchased my first food processor. This product is my first experience in feeling the product is cheaply made.

It takes a few tries to get the mix amount right. The recommended amount in the instructions is too much. Start with 2/3 that amount so you don't have a mess.

This is a great waffle maker. Heats up quickly and cooks quickly. Cooks to desired crispiness. An improvement would be an audible sound in addition to the green light when cooking is complete.

ok, works as expected. Put more batter than you would thing (1/3 cup as a scooper without scraping it. And turn all the way to the most golden. Lid is a little wiggly so press in place. Have only used once so far but was asked for review already. Nothing to complain about but nothing special either.

Compact, efficient, and it produces phenomenal waffles and browns. We use this several times a week to make crunchy, healthy hash browns. Fast heating up to piping hot which makes a great crust.

I am known as the waffle-meister at church. Once a month the men of our church get together for breakfast, fellowship and a devotion. I am on the team that cooks, and my specialty is waffles. My waffles are a perennial favorite, and I turn them out by the dozens. This waffles iron is my favorite. It makes the classic round waffles. Not the faddish Belgian waffles with the too-large holes that take way too much butter. This waffle iron is dependable, non-stick, and very low maintenance. I never use any releasing agent on it and i never wash it. I simply let it cool and wipe it down with a dry paper towel. This is my second waffle iron after the first one finally lost its non-stick coating after some 10-15 years of steady service. And 15 years from now I'll buy the same one again. (Maybe I'll buy it now and stow it away. You never know when they'll try to mess with perfection and I won't be able find it again.)
