Always wanted a waffle maker but not too big and this one is perfect. It makes waffles perfectly and can put one out in 3 minutes. This is small enough for just a couple and the Cuisinart brand is always reliable.

Seems cheaply made. Lid hinge has a lot of play. Darkness selector has sloppy resistance. Low end of the price range so you get what you pay for. Having said all that, the waffles turned out just fine.

The heating element of my mother’s toastmaster waffle iron finally wore out after 80 years of use. It was a true iron and made delicious crisp waffles. This little gadget with a wobbly lid could never make a true waffle.
