Heats up fast......I used 4.5 to make a crisper waffle.....use a third of a cup versus half a cup as it spreads and overflows on the half. This replaced a 61 year old GE and was very pleased.

This is the same model we have used for a very long time. We replaced the old one only because the finish was pealing. We have no need for anything fancier. It's nice that the finish does not need spraying before use.

This is great little waffle maker! I was a little skeptical of plates that didn't pop up for cleaning but it is honestly as easy to clean as wiping with a damp cloth. Seriously! Easy to store, makes outstanding waffles and the price is more than reasonable.
