Easy to clean and makes amazing waffles! Reason it's a 4 star instead of 5 star is because the base if very light so when it is cooling down before you can clean it, there is ample opportunity for it to fall over or get knocked over without a heavier support which could lead to someone burning themselves on it.
Other than that, great product! We make a ton of waffles.

The waffle maker cooks as expected but the browning control is just ridiculous. Trying to set it on the right number has to be carefully done because the control is so very wobbly. Absolutely unacceptable with a Cuisinart product.

The waffle maker makes great, classic style waffles. The only problem is that the green light does not work, but easy to know when it's supposed to be on... When the red light isn't. Didn't want to go through the process of a replacement as it's not a big deal for me.

I loved this one so much, I gave my original to my daughter and bought another for myself. It actually cooks the waffle evenly on both sides! Easy to clean and easy to store (that was an improvement from my first one. Very reasonable price.
