I needed to replace a very old waffle maker. This one fulfills every hope. The maker heats up quickly which makes it very easy to make waffles for a crowd. The ready lights take the guesswork out of making the waffles and the waffles come out perfectly. The added bonus is it can be stored standing up on end.

The top lid has a wiggle to it and so does the temperature setting.
This does not effect the quality of the waffle. If your looking for a tight fit this will bother you. Other than that the waffle maker works great.

Requires a coconut oil (or other) layer before each use (not each waffle). Spills out on the sides and makes a frustrating mess that gets caught in the cracks, even when the recommended batter amount is placed into the wafflemaker.
If it weren't for these issues, I'd rate it a 5, because it would be great, and it's small and compact and easy to use.
