Doesn't cool 550 sq ft

This unit claims it could 550 sq ft. It doesn't. I had an 8000 BTU unit which cooled better. I use fans to move the air around the space and it cools the room with the unit to the desired temp but is not strong enough for the rest of the apartment. It looks nice and functions well, removing humidity from the air. The installation was not easy for DIY, but I managed after a number of hours. I have not had it long enough to notice diminished electricity use. If you have bright lights outside of the window, the design of the unit, allowing light in on the sides, may not be ideal for sleeping. I'm constructing some panel to block out that light. All in all, I should have left the old unit in.

Stopped Working After 5 Months

Unit was great until it wasn't. Unit stopped working after 5 months of light use and is displaying a L0 fault code.

I got this with hesitation and reservations with what they claim to be quiet and and how well they work. Installation was not as difficult as it seems just pay attention. This unit is way more quiet than i had thought initially. It also cools my rancher with no problem. I plan on buying more of these for other rooms. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Used it last night for the first time. There's no doubt that it's quieter. And the cool thing about it is that I can even bring down the blinds. Great remote, slim. The packaging is well done, used the video to install which was not complicated at all, watched it quick just 7 minutes. I couldnt connect to the app at first but did reset it and it worked out in the first try. One great thing is that you can turn the lights off with the app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This design is genius!!! The U design allows for the window to close with a 5 inch opening which is awesome. Also this type of shape lets you open and close the window instead of being stuck in one position for the entire summer. It is a very streamlined looking air conditioner that looks great in any room. It was extremely effective in keeping the space cool. The air smelled fresh and was at a consistent cool. It is not very loud, just a comforting hum. Will be getting these for other rooms that need a cooling boost.

Quiet, Pretty decent design, not cooling that well

I really want to like this ac, it is very quiet, I like the swing gate that moves the air, I havent tried to set up the app because Im going to return it. I got the 12,000btu unit which should be more then enough for my small living room but Ive only had it a week, the weather hasnt even been that hot, think 77 was the highest its been and its only got the room down to 71 on high

Working well for us

This is working well during a recent hot spell in the San Francisco Bay Area with daily highs in the low 90s. We have this in a 2nd floor bedroom window and our house is a "tiny house" with no ceiling insulation at all. The 2nd floor used to be like a pizza oven during hot snaps but this unit is doing a great job keeping up AND it's super quiet. Wish we bought this a few years ago!

Nice Design but Not Cool Enough for Expectations

I have had this running and like someone else here mentioned, the unit doesn't seem to cool well above 80 outdoors. Not sure why with eco off, boost on, clean filters and clean grates. I would expect more from this 12K BTU unit, as my classic bedroom 8K BTU AC does far better (I know square footage matters - but the level of cool for the space is wildly different).
