This is my third Dyson stick vac and they keep getting better! This one replaces my 13 year old DC 44 that my granddaughter took to college! My second Dyson stick is a Dyson Animal model that is the only one I use at our cottage. This new Dyson is even better and much quieter than the Animal which I thick is pretty awesome!

Handy quick cleanup device with nice attachments

Cleaning has finally become so easy I finally want to do it as often as the situation requires! The vacuum is great, came with useful attachments, converts from long to short in no time, and the attachments are interchangeable with my other ball Dyson. The be wall mount could use improvement.

Disappointing Battery Performance.

Not happy with the battery life. I expected more from Dyson. This is our third Dyson in 25 Years. We have a competitor cordless that will last longer.

Great Vacuum, could use a few improvements

I purchased this 2 weeks ago and have been pleased so far. The only disappointment was that the fluffy head that came with this was the old type without the light. This was not what was in the original description, which described it as the laser fluffy head. I have almost entirely hard floors and being able to see grains of dirt would have been helpful. The head is very easy to maneuver and the unit as a whole is well balanced. The only drawback is that the power trigger has no lock, so you have to keep squeezing it while vacuuming. After a while, your finger gets tired. Could have used better instructions about how to set up the wall mount and a longer cord on the power supply so it could more easily reach an outlet. I had to use an extension cord. Wall mount works great to just slide in head and connect to charger in one go. Haven’t used it long enough to comment on battery life.
Filter works well, no dust seems to make it through. The dust bin release took a few tries to release smoothly, but now works fine. All in all, this unit works great for me and is so easy to grab and go to vacuum up dirt trekked in on shoes. I can do my whole 1500 sq ft unit on one charge, but only have to do that once a week because the spot vacuuming keeps the floors relatively clean in the interim.
Gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of light on the fluffy head and lack of trigger lock.
Would recommend to anyone needing a powerful, lightweight cordless vac.
I would recommend this to a friend!
