I love my Dyson. After giving many years of service my last one bit the dust. I tried to save a liitle and bought another brand. What a mistake, no comparison to my Dyson. So now I’ve purchased this one and the other brand is relegated to the garage.

This handheld vacuum is ok, I don't see what the hype is? The operation on time is 40 minutes. Pick up performance is ok as well. I'm sure other brands perform as good for half the price

I purchased this about 15 days ago. I'm disappointed that the battery doesn't hold a charge longer than it does. I also found it very difficult on the carpets.

Bought this a month ago and I returned it today, when I vacuumed a small area, it worked great, but when I tried to do a large area, it started pulsating, when holding the trigger in it would work and then after a while it would start pulsating (on and off) I bought this one replacing my old DC-59, so this is not my first rodeo.

I have used my Dyson Stick Vacuum around the house now for a month. It’s great for a quick clean-up, it hangs in the closet, out of the way, and it’s fairly easy to figure out how to empty the canister. Better instructions for that would be great! I can’t use my upright Dyson any longer, even though it is new, because it is too hard for me to push over my carpet. The suction is so strong, I have to put both legs and my back into moving it along
But, just to see how well it works, I vacuumed each room, then went over it with my Dyson upright. The upright picked up very much more hair and dirt that was left in the carpets! This V8 still works for me because I can’t use the big vacuum every time I need to vacuum. One more thing—The plug in charger can’t be plugged in while the vacuum is hanging in it’s holder, as instructions say. The connection is underneath the cap of the hanger. The V8 refreshes my carpets nicely and it gets under everything without my crawling on the floor!
