Max only for messes!

So far so good! Light weight and easy to use. The sweeping heads are shorter than I expected, but I'm adjusting. I 1st used it on max power, but the battery died before I finished the house. Dyson suggests only using max mode for big messes to save battery, and that is true!

No on/off switch

I returned the Dyson V8. It was a very effective vacuum, however there was no on/off switch. You had to depress the trigger on the handle the entire time you vacuumed. Very tiring especially with arthritis. Never heard of a vacuum with no on/off switch

Wears my finger out holding the power button.

Had this charged for a full day and night, it lasted about 10 minutes and stopped. Not worth nothing. I have the original Dyson I bought years ago and wanted to get away from the cord but I guess corded I shall stay.

Battery issue

We have used it only three times, we recharged the battery each time and today it stopped working after less then 15 minutes.
We had another one for years so we are very disappointed right now

Doesn’t perform at all as advertised. Very short battery life. Even with the proper attachment it doesn’t suck up everything on rugs or hardwood. Sometimes it humorously blows dust bunny’s away from it rather than sucking them up. I gave it an honest 2 week try hoping it would redeem itself but alas it did not.
