I had previously purchased the "Humdinger" hand-held and absolutely love it, for its ease of use - on furniture, the dog bed, inside my car. I knew that I would love the Dyson V8, and I was not wrong. Its light weight, mounted storage capability are so much easier to use than a standard upright vacuum cleaner. Anyone with a pet should get one!

So far it exceeds expectations! Family members have Dyson and love them so I figured get a try. Did not disappoint! Was nervous about using on hardwood floors because of scratching. No scratches with the correct vacuum head. Lightweight and easy to use. Thought continuous holding of button would bother me but it’s really nothing. Would recommend!

I purchased the vacuum a fortnight ago and have been using it to great effect. This is the second V8 absolute I purchased, and it delivers on the features that you come to expect from Dyson. The tools supplied with the machine makes it a breeze to handle various cleaning scenarios. Recommended.

This is not what I expected. I had a ball upright vacuum for 10 years. I wish I had gotten that style again.
