I bought this V8 vacuum 3 weeks ago and I love it. It's quiet than my previous Dyson and the Suction & Ergonomics I noticed is very powerful. Of course my previous one is a V6, one level down but no matter what it last for over 10 years +. No second thought and definitely will recommend this Dyson products.

So happy I bought the Dyson. My central vac has the long cumbersome hose to deal with and the electric one has the long cord and it’s loud. Dyson is lighter weight, great suction, quieter, and the suction head turns in all directions. I love it and highly recommend it.

It's a great vacuum - great suction and maneuverability. The wall unit was easy to install so you can hang it out of the way on the charger. The rinse-able filters are nice. I don't like the cheap plastic construction. You have to be careful when emptying and cleaning it because it can be easy to break a plastic part.

I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure a cordless vacuum could handle our household, but the Dyson V8 proved me wrong from the first pass. The suction is genuinely impressive, pulling up pet hair, dust, and debris from both hardwood floors and carpet with zero struggle. The lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver from room to room, up stairs, and into tight corners without the fatigue that comes with a traditional full-size vacuum.
The filtration system is outstanding — you can actually see the air quality difference, especially important to me with allergies in the house. Converting between floor head and handheld mode is fast and intuitive. The bin is easy to empty without getting your hands dirty, and the runtime is solid enough to handle a full cleaning session.
The one thing I’d flag for anyone considering it: the trigger button must be held down continuously while you vacuum — there’s no lock-on feature. It’s a minor ergonomic adjustment, especially on longer sessions, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. Definitely not a dealbreaker given everything else this machine delivers.
Bottom line: the Dyson V8 is worth every penny. Quality, performance, and convenience wrapped in a sleek design. This one’s staying in my home for years to come.
