I ordered my Dyson about a month ago. I’ve tried other vacuums—they all fell short. The V8 is lightweight and powerful! It’s easy to maneuver, and does a great job. I can vacuum my whole house on one charge! The filters are easy to clean and maintain. It a dry and dusty climate, this is a plus!

something I hadn't thought of: I have arthritis in my hands and having to keep the trigger pulled while vacuuming is difficult. not sure I will keep it.

Maneuvers easily, good suction. Great for pet hair on rugs and furniture. However, not fond of off-on trigger. Would prefer one that I do not have to hold the trigger to operate. Very fatiguing on arthritic fingers.

I've only had this vacuum for a week and I love everything about it! I only use it on luxury vinyl flooring and tile, as we don't have carpeting. It does work well on short loom wool throw rugs too. A friend recommended it to me and I would do the same for you!
