I am so happy with this vacuum as it picks up everything...I have lots of trees and needles and it does everything I need. it is also well-balanced. i had looked at some of the later bigger dysons but they were too top heavy. This one is perfect.

Once I realized I didn’t need to use Max power, this machine delivered like a champ. I love the convenience of just lifting it off the charger and zooming around quietly and efficiently. I waited too long to get one and highly recommend it.

Good, but battery & wall mount should be better.

Dyson V8 offers good suction, smooth maneuverability, and comfortable ergonomics. Its main drawback is the relatively short battery life. The wall‑mount bracket works, but routing the charging cable through the narrow slits feels awkward. It’s functional, yet the overall design comes across as a bit flimsy and somewhat cheap.

I’ve had it for 2 weeks. Happy, mostly because the ease of use changes behavior: I clean my house with greater frequency. I had bought an “elbow” as well, an attachment that gives you a 90 degree angle to clean under the furniture. Don’t buy it. It makes the vacuum arm too long, too heavy and unwieldy. The biggest problem that I have with the V8 is that the mechanisms to open the vacuum for cleaning and emptying is finicky, the parts are so small that it feels like they’re going to break next time you use them. So far so good, but I’m worried. Battery is fine.

Love this Dyson. I was worried about purchasing an older model with less suction than the newer models, but the V8 Absolute is awesome and fits all my needs. I is light weight and very maneuverable.
