This is probably my 6th Dyson. Tried other models but none have the suction (to me) as a Dyson. They last a couple of years, other brands maybe a year., if fortunate. Pet hair galore, here. Anyway as with my previous two cordless Dyson's the suction is great, battery life, not so. It works here b/c I don't mind re-charging as I can do something else while it charges - it charges fast. My complaint is with that filer on the top! The wings/tabs are so flimsy that they break off with just a little impact. Would have purchased a different model had I realized this before purchase. Next time (likely two years) it'll be another Dyson but a different model.

Does not hold a charge very long can barly get one room Vaccumed before it dies

This is my first Dyson, it’s also my first battery powered. I have enjoyed it so much. I don’t mind vacuuming now.

I have a small house and I have not been able to vacuum my whole house without the battery stopping. I keep it on charge at all times when not in use. I have avoided using the max setting thinking I'd get the whole house done before the battery lost its charge. I've tried twice today trying to vacuum my floors and still haven't been able to finish. Wish I'd never bought it.

It has been a complete new experience for me, lot of things need to adjusted to, most of them are favorable, but I think your manual did not have enough info, for new user. Most urgent thing for me to know is it recommanded: to charge it to full before storage, otherwise, when cleaner is needed, I have to wait for 3 more hours (fully charging time) to use?

I purchased this about three weeks ago, and I love the suction power in the diverse set of tools. The one big drawback that is preventing me from giving this vacuum a great rating is the limited battery life. You cannot vacuum an entire floor of a house with just one charge of a battery. Then it takes over two hours for the battery to be fully charged, which in most cases you’re onto another Household chore. I can see this vacuum is good for apartments or very small houses. But if you’re planning on using this for an average size house, you will find a challenging. My last stick vacuum came with an extra battery, which was perfect. For the price that you pay for a Dyson you would think they would come with a spare battery.
