good suction and it reaches in places the my old vaccuum missed. it feels alot different than an uprigh but once you get used to it its awesome!

I have only had this for about a week, but I love it so far! Amazing suction and the battery life is fantastic too! Easy to use (I did watch a few instructional videos) and maneuver! My only complaint is the trigger having to be held down as it can get uncomfortable. I have two cats and was amazed at home thoroughly the vacuum cleaned the rugs!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This v8 is my second one, we had a v7 before for 10 years, The v8 is great, but a fully charged battery only lasts 15 minutes. The first two weeks it last about 25 minutes I have had the v8 for three weeks

This is our second Dyson cordless - this is our first V8. We love it! Quieter, more powerful, extra attachments...what's not to love. Some complain about the battery life, but we already know about that issue and it's non-issue for us - we take breaks during the charging times. We haven't had the V-8 long but I do believe it has better suction power. The filter system is better and traps more dust and dirt than our older model. How did we ever get along without Dyson cordless?
