I just used my new vacuum for the first time and the battery didn’t even last long enough to finish a small bedroom. I had to charge it three times to use it throughout my small townhome. Dyson is sending me a new battery and hopefully that fixes it, but not what I was hoping for when spending so much money on a vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It doesn’t really vacuum carpets well which is disappointing for how superior this product is supposed to be. I also don’t like that it has to continuously be held for the vacuum to be powered. It has good suction but doesn’t well on carpets of most pile types. The battery life is ok could be better.

good suction and it reaches in places the my old vaccuum missed. it feels alot different than an uprigh but once you get used to it its awesome!

I have only had this for about a week, but I love it so far! Amazing suction and the battery life is fantastic too! Easy to use (I did watch a few instructional videos) and maneuver! My only complaint is the trigger having to be held down as it can get uncomfortable. I have two cats and was amazed at home thoroughly the vacuum cleaned the rugs!

This v8 is my second one, we had a v7 before for 10 years, The v8 is great, but a fully charged battery only lasts 15 minutes. The first two weeks it last about 25 minutes I have had the v8 for three weeks
