This is fantastic. Just got this after having the V6 Motorhead for about 10 years (it was also great, and only replaced the battery once). We have mostly wood or tile floors, but now we have more carpet and pet hair than we've had in the past, and the V8 Absolute has been wonderful. It's similar in feel/hold to the V6 but more maneuverable and significantly more power/ suction, especially on Flor tiles or carpet. Since our last one also had the button that you have to hold to keep on, we were used to that and isn't a problem. This model is Much easier to empty, and doesn't seem to struggle with hair getting caught around the roller. Assume we'll have this one for the next 10 years, as the quality is excellent and it has a much better battery/charging life than the last one we had. Great value and would highly recommend!

Purchased my Dyson about a month ago and LOVE to vacuum whenever I can! I find it getting in to the nooks and crannies very easy and helpful. The only minor disappointment I have is that you need to hold the on switch on rather than flipping a switch. Other than that - I am so happy that I made the decision to make this purchase.
