I have had many Dyson products in my life and this is the first one that I have a problem with. I have a V-8 and the dust trap door doesn't spring load.

I am loving the ease of using my Dyson. So nice to just grab it and clean up kitchen crumbs. I am vacuuming more often because there is no hassle with the cordless. I used the upholstery attachment on my couch. OMG! I had no idea the couch was so dirty. That little thing is powerful! Emptied the dirt 2x. Was torn between embarrassment and being thrilled!

I have a rainbow vacuum cleaner, and I swear by it it has a water filter. No dust comes out of that thing. However, It’s rather large and somewhat cumbersome, and it is a real pain in the neck to lug up and down the stairs. A girlfriend of mine was in the same predicament, so she bought a Dyson, for quick in between cleaning. She was very happy. So I purchased one too, for my house. ITS THE BEST. For quick cleaning I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. I smell no dust whatsoever when I’m using the Dyson V8. I have a three bedroom two-story house, and a quick run through for 10 minutes downstairs in the kitchen, living room and hallway in the evening, is all I need to be able to come down into a spotless house every morning How wonderfully refreshing I have also found that I only need to bring out the rainbow vacuum, the heavy cumbersome one, to do a deep clean, and now I do that every other week And I have no dust in the house A bit long-winded, but the result is, I love it The attachments are pretty standard, but well worth having. The couch vacuum is very handy If there was any gripe whatsoever, it would be battery life. But let’s face it there’s never enough juice in those things However, I have to say, what I need it for, it’s fine. In fact, more than enough Nothing bad to say about the Dyson V8 at all

I have only used the Dyson once. Great pickup on carpet and tile floors and easy empty of bin Only issue so far is getting used to keeping finger on start button consistently as needed.
