We had our dyson for 6 years before it broke (we dropped it accidentaly) and although these are expensive machines i could not have gone anything but another dyson. its perfection!

We received the V8 as a gift for Christmas and are not thrilled with it. It is cheaply made for the price. Although we did not purchase it. When fully charged it only runs for a max of 20 minutes and dies. To empty the dirt is not simple and does not hold a lot of debris. We had bee thinking to purchase one for many years and are glad we did not. We would not recommend this product to anyone,

I like the ease of use and putting it together was simple. Especially like how you can go under coaches and beds when laying the Dyson flat.

Its a wonderful vaccum, the only thing is that it doesnt pick up anything when you pull backwards. However that being said, its extremely light, powerful, and can get into every nook and cranny. Perfect for what i need it for which is just maintenance with pets and kids.

I received this v8 cordless vacuum as a gift. For the h e few weeks I've used it, it is effective and convenient for both quick pet hair pickups on hard floors and more thorough cleanings on area rugs. It did a respectable job with kitty litter. I love that it is light, maneuverable, easy to change attachments. The charging station is also convenient yet I couldn't fit the crevice tool attachment on it. The other two fit nicely. My only complaint is that the battery life could be better. It makes a wonderful backup or quick clean up tool, which is why I requested it, but it doesn't have the battery longevity for a whole house cleaning.
