easy, convenient, light, powerful. I have a dog and I never seem to get all the hair after sweeping, then using a swifter, then mopping. My new dyson has cut down on the dog hair and having to use so many different tools to clean my floors.

If the motorized head gets caught on an area rug it will stop which is fine but I have to mess with it before it will reengage? Not sure if this is normal for this model?

You can’t beat Dyson for ease of use or effectiveness. We finally had to replace our old Dyson model after over 10 years. It came with our fifth wheel RV and we since moved it to our home and daily use. We love our Dyson V8 even more. Seems more powerful and is definitely super maneuverable. Easy to empty debris. Stores just like our old Dyson and we were so happy not to have to drill new holes in the wall. Just the perfect vacuum to use that is handy and ready to go to work!

I would honestly give the Dyson V8 5 stars because I absolutely love it. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and does a great job picking up dirt and pet hair. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the max power mode only lasts for a couple of minutes before the battery drains. If it had a stronger or longer-lasting battery, especially for max mode, it would be perfect. Overall, it’s still an excellent vacuum and I’m very happy with it.

Works great and I use it all the time. Being able to empty it can be a little tricky. Almost feels like I’m going to break it. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Overall would recommend.
