MI bought the Dyson for my wife for Christmas. She loves it! It outports most handheld vacuums and has a good variety of attachments.it is easy maneuver around tables and chairs add tight corners. The battery lasts for a decent time when it’s on the max suction setting but it filters out lots of particles. Overall Very Good Product

The performance is better than what I expected: very quiet and it sucks all the dust and dog hair out of the carpet in our RV. I am beyond thrilled to have this second Dyson in the family! Vacuum is very difficult to push when on high power on thick rugs works great on hardwood on either low/high. Battery life needs improvement

The machine is a great concept. I actually use it quite a bit because it is handy. What I did notice though is the battery life is greatly shortened to a ridiculous time of use. It also takes a long time to charge, that could be improved. Lastly, The trigger used to power it is a bad concept. I'm a grown man and it still made my finger tired from holding that trigger down. It is also not making contact inside the handle because have to pull it twice sometimes to get it to power on.

This is our fifth Dyson and we like them a lot. This is our second V8 and I feel this model has a much more stable bin assembly when emptying compared to the last Dyson we bought, a V10. The V10 is so flimsy when trying to deftly slide open the bin and it became quite unstable. We cracked some plastic off it a while ago, thought it is still serviceable. Durability is important with a vacuum and the V8 fits the bill.
