I love the fact that I don't have a long cord to keep plug into an outlet when I'm using a vacuum. This machine is light weight and so convenient. I purchased this item due to a family member and a friend bragging about their Dyson V8. So glad I listened to them and I def recommend this vacuum to other people.

It does a great job but I do wish the battery lasted longer. I also wish there was a strong adhesive to just stick the vacuum holder to the wall. Other than that, I think everyone knows Dysons are great!

Will be returning this vacuum. Not only is the suction sub par but the battery life is nonexistent regardless of what mode you are using.

I previously had a Dyson V10 and it lasted about 7 years. It was more powerful than the V8 and weighed more but now that I don't have carpets (only wood/tile) the smaller, lighter, although less powerful V8 does a good job.
One complaint; since the wall mount has the insertion point for recharging at the top (V10 had it at the bottom) you must make sure the plug goes all the way in by pushing it. With the V10 gravity did its job and essentially the machine fell right into place.
