I purchased this one to replace the older one that finally stopped running. It was about 15 years old. This one is like a V8 compared to a two cylinder one. It has more power , suction and everything else. The wife and myself were pleasantly surprised. The lady that comes every other week cold not believe how good it is and what it can do compared to the old one we had. Only down side for myself is when emptying the holding area. I was use to the other and when I tried it I missed the garbage can and had to vacuum all of the dirt back to get it in the trash can. Which it did rather quickly.

Replacement for an older model

I bought this new Dyson to replace one I have haf for 10 years first onecwas especially designed to pick up pet hair. It worked great for over 10 years but lately it would not hold a chargr as long. I bought this one to replace it after my pet died. This one is working great. Has more suction power than the other one. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver too.

Love my Dyson V8. Gets the job done. When not on Max, the battery lasts about 40-45 minutes. Does a great job on carpet and wood flooring. Light weight and easy to use.
