I bought my Dyson about 5 weeks ago and love it!!
The only issue I have is that is rubs a blister on my thumb after carrying it around doing my vacuuming. If only I could figure something out to put on my thumb without it rubbing off! May try a glove.

Pros : Powerful suction; good swivel head, low profile, very convenient to use
Cons : small dust collection cup, too easy to turn machine on by accident, light weight but still can be hard on the wrist, price is high

I'm not happy with new expensive Dyson. As soon as I flip switch to max, after ten minutes the Dyson shuts down. It does make an odd noise.
Other than that, if I keep Dyson dial on low, it works beautifully. It's great. I might have a lemon. I am going to return for different Dyson.

I am so happy I bought the Dyson V8 vacuum! I have always wanted one, and I knew I wouldn't regret it. It worked from the moment I picked it up and has beeen so convenient and easy to use. My floors are cleaner than ever. Dirt that would not disappear on the floor is picked up by this vacuum. I am so GLAD I splurged a little bit more for something that will last a life time!

I love my Dyson V8 vacuum. It is so light I can carry it upstairs with one hand. It's perfect to pick up cat hair on the many carpets in the house. Remember that this model is NOT for hours of vacuuming the whole house. The battery lasts 30 minutes or less depending on the mode. I bought it because of the fact that I now have 2 cats and one of them is a long hair cat. Her fur is everywhere. This vacuum has great attachments too so that I can do small areas.

This Dyson works just as good but is easier for me to maneuver around in my old age, great product great price!!!
