I had my first Dyson stick vacuum for quite a few years and absolutely loved it. However, I made the mistake of vacuuming over a damp section of carpet caused by rain from an open door. It never worked right after that and had to make the decision to buy another vacuum. Not wanting to put a lot of money into another, I settled for another brand. It was nothing like my Dyson, and I absolutely hated it from the get go. In hindsight I should have returned it. It was heavier, more bulky with the head and honestly couldn’t compare to my Dyson. I used it for a year and gave up the struggle and got myself another V8 Absolute. It is so much easier to maneuver, and lighter than the other one, and picks up much better as well. I am even able to use it on my scatter rugs. I love that it starts and stops immediately upon pushing the button whereas the other one had to be turned on and off manually. Vacuuming is so much easier for me now and I’m not cursing as I work as compared to the old one!! I as yet have not used all the attachments, just the small one for cleaning furniture of dog hair. Works great for that! Battery life could be longer if I change up the speed, but that was expected. I can go on a full charge through my main rooms and some of it carpeting, and still have at least one charge left on the battery. It picks up dirt and dog hair just great, and the discharge bin is easy to use and clean out.
I will never be without a Dyson ever again!! Thank you for making a product that is easy to use and going forward will be sure to use all my attachments I received with it.

Wife is a cleaning nut. Uses the machine everyday. Only had a month but looks good so far. Would love to see a smaller model with equal suction. Real interest on battery life.
