This is my 2nd Dyson V8. At 78 y.o. It is light and easy to use, has excellent suction (even on reg mode) and the swivel head is easy to manage when fitting it into hard to reach spaces around heavy furniture. Easy to empty. Highly recommend.

I LOVE THIS VACUUM!!!! I have/had the V6 and there are upgrades between the two. Dyson listened and improved the V8! The V6 is still a great vacuum, but the V8 is easier to remove the dirt/cat hair. I have a Maine Coon, and she has a lot of fur!! With the V8, the hair doesn't get caught in the cyclone, it's metal, instead of the V6 being plastic and there are/were areas where the hair would stick and you have to disassemble the bid to get it out. I LOVE THE V8!!!!

Had it two weeks. Performs very well, great suction. Wood floor attachment is awesome. Would rate a five except the battery doesn’t have the capacity to do my whole house. Quiet. Easy to maneuver.
