We bought this Dyson to replace the Dyson which had served us well. We could have repaired the previous Dyson but when we compared the cost of necessary repairs plus the fact that part of the exterior housing was failing we decided on a new one. Dyson is simply the best compared to all of the lower cost Chinese brand wannabes. We trust we’ll get another 10 years of good service from this one.

The unit works just fine but is over-priced. competitors are priced significantly lower. I don't mind paying a little more for a superior product, but don't that much more.

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. It’s lightweight, holds a charge and maneuvers in/around and under furniture very easily. It also seamlessly transitions from hardwood to carpet. I highly recommend.

Purchased one month ago. A clean sweep. Only complaint is that the user needs to kept the red button depressed the entire time it is running. It would be better and easier on the index finger if it stayed on when the button is depressed,, and then click again to power off.
