I am enjoying a great machine and even got a good sale on it. It has more long lasting power than any other battery vacuum that I have had. I have a small house that can do the entire place on one charge. It does carpet and wood and tile floors perfectly. It comes with a good starter set of attachments. The tips from Dyson are helpful. It has been an excellent purchase.

This was a gift. I love the fact there is no cord. It would be nice if the battery life were longer. As it is, the battery only lasts about 45 minutes and it usually takes about 60 minutes to vacuum. It does not work great on carpets with short, close weave. Easy to maneuver and the filtration is very good. My version has many great attachments.

I purchased my first Dyson a few weeks ago and have found it to be worth the money. There is no cord to worry about so it is easy and quick to move room to room. I had planned to purchase a small hand held vacuum in addition to a regular vacuum; however, the Dyson 8 provides both. Definitely worth the money.
