We’ve had this Dyson cordless vac for a month or so. It is excellent! So powerful compared to the previous versions. I have a large white Labrador retriever who sheds terribly. I use the vac at least twice a day trying to keep up with the hair. I’m grateful to have it.
I bought this several weeks ago to see what all the hype was about. Sadly, this does not live up to my expectations. I’ve had several cordless vacuums and they all beat this one out by far - without the price tag. To start, there is no display - I cannot tell when the battery is low, when there could be a clog, or when it’s suggested to clean the filter. There’s no way to indicate the status of this machine. Next, there is no light for the floor attachment, which I’ve had on several other much cheaper vacuums. Not having a light was such a miss in this one. Another disappointment is the battery life. This doesn’t come with a spare back up battery, which I’ve had with several other brands of vacuum. Not only is the battery life short, but it also takes awhile to charge. All in all, I will be going back to other less expensive brands that have equal to better performance with all the added features this one lacks. Such a bummer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery is does mot stand up to your name it only last 10 to 15 minuets on a full charge very disappointed

LOVE my Dyson! It’s the only brand I buy. It reaches every crevice. Attachments are so easy to change up. The best part is how easy it is to empty. Buy it—one of the best purchases you will make!
