Performance of the vacuum is wonderful. However, my battery only lasts 10 minutes on a full charge. Dyson states it should last for 40 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Improved performance!

I was on the fence of purchasing a new battery for my old cordless or buying a new cordless vacuum. I decided to buy it new and I’m so glad I did. My old Dyson didn’t have this much power. The performance has greatly improved.

This is a great vacuum for light pick ups. I have used it about twice a day for 10-15 minutes as the dogs bring in leaves like crazy! Also is great detached to clean out crumbs in drawers.

The V8 Absolute has been operating exactly as advertised in every way. Great battery life for a ,1200 square foot house. A ten out of ten with all hair pick up. Hardwood and carpet adapters respectively great. Light enough to move around, up and down, finally getting to the corners and bump out windowsills. The two power settings are distinct; I've been able to get a lot done with just the "regular", and the max setting really sucks. Great vacuum, would recommend to any home owner with a small to medium house. the mount also charges, which is legendary for pulling off the wall, taking care of something quick and returning, only to have it ready to rock and roll next time.
