I bought this Dyson and it works great. We had bought our first V8 five years ago and it was our go to vacuum for quick cleaning chores. We have one for upstairs and one for downstairs as it is so convenient to use.

I have 3 other Dyson stick vacs and my new Animal V8 is a big improvement over the older models. I have 2 shedding dogs and could vacuum everyday. The new one will pick up pine straw and I no longer have to stop and pull all the dog hair off the roller. Not crazy about the dirt dumping configuration. Seems awkward you really need 3 hands.

I love this vacuum, the weight of it is so light, vacuums well, swiveling head is great. My only comment is that the vacuum head itself could be wider, so it covers more of floor space when vacuuming. This would save us time and be more efficient in the world of household cleaning.
