Great Vacuum but the battery dies way too fast. For the price of it not sure it is worth the money. Might as well spend more to get the higher model.

My son gave me two vacuum cleaners for each floor of my home. The Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner has been outstanding and helping me keep my house clean. As a senior citizen I find it extremely convenient and easy to use. I appreciate the way that it moves from different floor surfaces without any effort. Great product.

This vacuum is fantastic! Whenever I am directed to do some vacuuming by my wife, I grab the Dyson and get cracking. Not only does it suck up the shmutz, it also runs out of battery right around the same time I run out of motivation. I really like the ease of emptying the waste cup, and that if I screw up, I can reattach the cup and get it right back up.
It’s pretty light and changing attachments is super easy. I can go from vacuuming the floor to using the upholstery tool in my crumb covered car seats and floor mats.
All in all, this is now my go to vacuum. I actually use it everyday, having wood floors that really show stuff on the floor. If we had carpets, not only would I not recommend this vacuum, I wouldn’t bother vacuuming, since the guck just settles in the fibers.

Great agility, but the battery only lasts for eight minutes on max. I called Dyson to inquire about this and she said that is correct. Eight minutes, not 40 or 20 or 25. Eight minutes.
