I purchased the Dyson V8 Absolute on December 5th, 2024, and have been impressed with its powerful suction, which is great for handling pet hair from my cats. However, the battery life has been extremely disappointing. It only lasts about 15 minutes before needing a recharge, which makes cleaning my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment a frustrating task. I end up spending more time waiting for it to recharge than actually cleaning.
A vacuum of this caliber should offer at least 45 minutes of run time to allow for efficient cleaning without interruptions. I kindly request that Dyson address this issue and consider replacing my unit with one that has a battery life more suited to the needs of customers with larger homes or pets like me. Thank you so much.

Replaced my v7 after 6 years. Needed a new battery and decided to go new and hopefully better. Was not disappointed. The v8 easily out performs the 7. Not sure about battery yet but am hopeful it will last longer between charges.
