I had a Dyson V8 animal before this new one. It had much better suction. My new one doesnt pick up dog hair anything like the old one did. Im a little disappointed in the performance

The Dyson V8 was bought to replace a small hand held vacuum to clean up small messes. I was concerned the V8 would be too bulky but I am very pleased how nimble it is and does a better job than the hand held vacuum. The easy, quick change out to the accessory tools is a big plus.

I bought this Dyson in early December and used it three times vacuuming flights of stairs and the landings. Powerful vacuum and it's easy to maneuver. The ease of use is amazing, the most important thing is no cord worry, especially when you are vacuuming stairs. Charging time is a slight concern but the job it does out ways this negative. Thanks for supplying this lightweight vacuum cleaner.
