I received this vacuum For Christmas as a gift. I was very impressed with it when I use it at my daughter‘s house. However, the problem I have with my Dyson is that the battery does not hold a charge long. I am unable to vacuum my downstairs before the battery has to be recharged.

My vacuum shorted the motor and was smoking at the plug and died. I have a v8 in my house up north and like it a lot my first thought was now I can go cordless finally. Went and purchased one and it works fantastic. My v8 is 3 yrs old and a little different. I like the simplicity and the power you get out of it as the suction is astounding. But I like the freedom of cordless more!

We had a V7 that finally died. We loved that one a lot. This one is even MORE amazing and we love the new way the head swivels to better reach corners.
