This was an impulsive purchase decision. I have since returned the product and purchased the Dyson V15. I needed something with greater run time, more bin capacity, a replaceable battery and more features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had 3 dysons far better than any other cordless vacuum! I've tried sharks but with a black lab they don't come close to a dysons suction performance!

I've had the vacuum for two weeks and am thoroughly pleased with the purchase. The vacuum is excellent. I have not had an issue with battery life, though I tend to only use it for 10-15 minute stretches. I keep it at the low setting and the suction is great. The machine is very well made and disassembles easily for cleaning. The noise level is lower than expected too. My only criticism would be the size of the dust compartment. It's smallish, but easy to empty. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend to others.
