Love the ease of use in the house and car. Love the tangle free roller — we own multiple golden retrievers and this stood the test! Quick and easy for reaching high away cob webs and down low dust bunnies in little crevices. Easy to empty. So satisfying, I can’t stop using it. Just wish the battery lasted longer, otherwise it would be 5 star!
My first Dyson and it's wonderful!!! So easy to use that I vac more often!!! I did have to call to get the crevice tool attachment which they sent out right away!!
My favorite feature is how easily this vacuum moves from cleaning bare floors to short-pile carpets. Also, long hair doesn't wrap around the head. I read some one-star reviews before buying, and as a result was concerned about the reported high noise level. I certainly wouldn't rate the vacuum as any noisier than any other vacuum I've used. I don't find it a problem at all. I do agree with some reviewers that the need to constantly hold down the trigger is tiresome/fatiguing, and an on/off switch would be much preferrable. And perhaps it's just our house, but the "tub" must be cleaned out a bit more often than I'm accustomed to.
I have a thicker carpeting in my living room and my bedroom and you can’t go back-and-forth. You can only go one way with the Dyson.

There’s no light on front! You have to keep holding the button for it to run and you can’t just empty it without pulling the whole front open. I’m surprised with all the rave about Dyson such easy fixes are on it
