I buy a lot of Dyson products. I have the lights, the vacuums, the hair dryer, the fans. I was certain I would like this stick vacuum too. I had one already, an ancient one, I think it was the first stick vacuum that they made and it does still work sometimes but the battery runs out quickly. This new one is amazing. It can run for a long period of time on MAX setting and it is powerful. I had a bad tiny flying black bug problem... no matter how many times I put down fly paper and other flying bug traps, I couldn't get rid of them and because I have animals I can't use harsh insecticides. I used this stick vacuum and went on a bug hunt and I swear I got most of the bugs using this vacuum, and/or chased the bugs to the fly paper using the vacuum.

Used it on my plant laminate flooring & it works great! Tried it out on my rugs and it did a fantastic job! Easy to switch to do different jobs. Perfect quick way to empty and get back to the task at hand!
