Im a mother of 3 young kids. The cordless was a must have for me. I love the option to have “max” power. I love being barefoot but hate dirty floors. This vacuum is perfect I “bust” out a quick vacuum constantly throughout the day and it’s just so easy to grab and do less than a minute!

Sucks great. Battery is trash. Everything about the vacuum is amazing except the battery. I live in a two bedroom apartment, four rooms are carpet, and this pricey vacuum doesn’t last when it’s fully charged. Also, the max sucking option kills the battery faster. So it can only be used on minuscule areas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this almost a month ago and I absolutely love it!!! It is so light weight the attachments are great and the suction is out of this world. My floors are so clean. I am happy the most that I can clean my hardwood steps with it. I had a vacuum with a hose before but that just didn't reach all the way to the top of the stairs. Now I can carry this because it is so light. I do finish all my vacuuming but I wish the battery stayed changed for a longer time. It says 40 minutes but I think its a little less. Ill have to check again. Thats why I didn't give 5 stars. I would definitely purchase this again. I got it on sale. Even better!

Vacuum itself is great but battery life sucks, or maybe I got a bad battery? But I have to charge it in between rooms or I won’t get my whole house done, and my house isn’t big.

Love how quiet the machine runs. No "jet plane" kind of noises like other vacuums.
I also understand why you turned the on/off button on the 8 model into an on/off slider on the new models. We just keep turning the machine on by accident when we wish to empty the canister.
The weight of the 8 is so much better than the bigger models.
