This is my 2nd cordless Dyson in 10 plus years. The new one is a bit more quiet. The charging light is more visible. Does a super job. The only thing I am surprised about is that in 10 years they haven't figured out an on and off button. Squeezing the button is enjoying after awhile.
I love the V8. I had an injury years ago, and this vacuum makes it easy for me to clean my rugs. The cordless aspect is the most important for me. It does a good job on rugs and carpets.
The Vacuum is good but the battery dies so fast…..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my vacuum for a few weeks and I use it every day. I love the vacuum but the crevice tool leaves much to be desired. There isn’t enough suction when I use the crevice tool to pick up debris on the first (or second) swipe. The hair screw tool works well to get pet hair off furniture. I have not used the combination too yet. (I hope it works better than the crevice tool!) I love that the vacuum is lightweight and the battery lasts long enough for me to vacuum my entire home.
