Recently bought the V8 Original. It is a joy to operate. It is well balanced, which helps because the motor is hefty & very powerful. Small shreds of paper can clog it however; but overall I’m glad I purchased it. I’m purchasing a long, skinny snorkel to clean the nooks & crannies in my car.

Glad to finally have bought a cordless vacuum. It makes a "quick cleaning" so much easier. I had hoped that I would be able to do almost all of the vacuuming with it, but I feel in order to really clean, the suction needs to be set to "max" - and in this mode the charge lasts only a very short time. I also wish it had come with a non-motorized hardwood floor attachment. I had to buy one plus an adapter to make it fit on the Dyson.

I have had a V7 for years and it was time to for a new one. The V8 is great. It is much quieter, has more suction, and it is easier and neat to empty.

Read the operating directions -twice. Once when you assemble the machine. Then again after your initial use. It’ll answer all your questions like why does the machine turn off during use, why doesn’t the batter last as long as claimed?

Love how light it is. Just wish the dirt holder were bigger. I have to empty it twice every time I vacuum and I have a small house. It does a great job!
