I like my Dyson because it’s strong motor and long lasting battery. However I don’t like that I have to hold the run button the whole time I’m using it to make it work.
The battery does not last near 40 mins. Not sure why they say 40 run time, then recharge takes longer then 15 minutes as it says. Abit disappointed

I purchased this about 3 weeks ago…poor directions for emptying the collected debris…video goes too fast explaining how to dismantle the Dyson V8

Battery don’t charge fully. They need to improve mechanism.

The battery lasted for 19 minutes after charging it for two days. We thought at first it just needed to be charged longer but it only lasted 19 minutes after charging. So we returned it.

Several issues for me: 1. Suction on lower power is inadequate 2. Difficult to separate components in order to clean cannister and filter 3. My fingers "naturally" rest on the power on, so that it requires a less natural grip for me to hold the vacuum without it running 4.It most likely is a matter of my expectations, but this vacuum cleaner is not all that much better than the cheaper not-Dyson models I have tried. Pros: light weight, cmponents are easy to clean once apart

Had a Dyson V8 for 7years and loved it. Got new V8. and my wife ask me if I still loved her because the vacuum was terrible!! Short vacuum time on boost and terrible pick up dirt on regular. I am attempting to see if it can be returned without box. I wouldn’t have thrown box away because I can’t believe Dyson would sell such a product
