I am so happy we bought this a month ago…. Wish I had done it earlier. It’s so easy to use, and cleans extremely well! We have 3 dogs that always bring in stuff from outside, mulch, twigs, etc. super convenient to grab it off the charger to spot clean!
Hate the trigger power button. Have to hold it down. All the attachments are a waste of time. Plus I just don’t think it works all that well. I feel like I have to vacuum everything twice. Storage not convenient. Have to drill into the wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This vacuum is fantastic! It’s getting trash out of my carpet I didn’t even know was there. I can’t imagine how good a full sized vacuum would be if the stick vacuum is this great.
In order for the vacuum to operate, you need to keep your finger on the trigger. When you take your finger off, the vacuum stops. You would think that with the high cost of this vacuum, it would have an on/off button. Also, the battery when fully charged does not last 40 minutes you are lucky it lasts 25 minutes. Lastly, it is very cumbersome when emptying the bin to clean. Overall, the design of Dyson V8 is not impressive and I would not recommend it to my family and friends.

Like the ease and ergonomics of changing out the attachments and the smaller size to fit in our boat. Floor attachments work well. Very disappointed in the suction of the small round brush attachments. I picked this vacuum because it had brush attachments. Seems to just move the dust around with the bristles not having enough suction to actually then suck up the dust rather than it just falling. Can’t imagine it’s user error but haven’t found any videos stating to do anything special.
