Like the ease and ergonomics of changing out the attachments and the smaller size to fit in our boat. Floor attachments work well. Very disappointed in the suction of the small round brush attachments. I picked this vacuum because it had brush attachments. Seems to just move the dust around with the bristles not having enough suction to actually then suck up the dust rather than it just falling. Can’t imagine it’s user error but haven’t found any videos stating to do anything special.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The vacuum I purchased did not work and I am still in the process of trying to return. Dyson makes it incredibly difficult to return.

This is my second purchase of the Dyson V8. The first one I purchased the battery went out within two years. I purchase a second one and it seems that the same situation is happening again.

The battery is not that good. It doesn't last that long. I'm very disappointed. The button that you push to start it doesn't stay on unless you hold it. I've looked for something to push to lock it on, but nothing. I do like all the different attachments. I've used 3 different ones so far.
I researched vacuum cleaners over a month-long process and decided to go with the V8 Extra. I am very pleased with my purchase. The recharge works very well, and the overall performance is as I expected. I have ceramic tile throughout the main level, and it is perfect to quickly pick up my dogs loose hairs and dirt.
I have had several different stick vacs and this one is amazing. It's performed and maneuverability is great. Battery life so far is much longer than expected as well. I would highly recommend this vacuum.
