I wanted a light weight, convenient, and powerful vacuum. This is it! Our home has tile floors and no pets so the regular speed is good for the majority of the house. The "max" position is perfect for our carpets. This Dyson remains charged the entire time it takes to vacuum the entire house. Because it is so light and convenient, I can use it daily in heavily trafficked areas.

I absolutely love my Dyson, not sure how I lived 74 years without one. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the difficulty of holding the power switch while vacuuming. There should be some way to engage it on like a gas pump. I actually have gotten a blister using it. But for getting up dog hair it can’t be beat.
