ABSOLUTELY THE BEST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a v7. I'm disabled and need some help cleaning. One of the girls on my street offered to help me, she had gotten most of the house done with my v7 and she says to me, "I think your vacuum just died". I told her it just needed to be charged. MY DOG SHEDS FOG. Went for the vacuum & sure enough it was dead. I called Dyson, speaking with Sebastan. After deciding should I spend a lot on a new battery, or go a little further,(which the price was knocked down a lot, got a extra hepa filter free, warranty done over phone). Spending a little more, knowing I was getting a higher model than I had, I was extremely happy with the new vacuum. I was actually giddy over a new Dyson model for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery life is mis leading

The suction power is great. I am very disappointed with the battery life. On high it barely makes 15min.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Save yourself some money. Buy a Dyson

We've wasted a lot of money buying cheap vacuums. Should have bought a Dyson and saved $$$ and tons of frustration. I was surprised at how efficiently it picked up threads from the sewing room. No more crouching down to pick up "leftovers".

I had high hopes for this vacuum but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. It works decently on hardwood floor but even on the freshly charged on max setting it did not pick up pet hair on carpet. Just pushed it around. Will be returning and trying out the pet-specific version. Do not recommend for homes with dogs that shed a lot like my GSD.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
