Mixed feelings

First job was cleaning my jeep. Had to use max speed to get debri out of carpet and battery life was only about 15 minutes! However, on my LVT floors, on normal speed, it did fantastic!
I would recommend this to a friend!

V8 Absolute for Women Recently Separated

So you left your husband 5 months ago but you’re trying to do an amicable divorce. He borrowed the vacuum cleaner and returned it without the only head extension that was barely useful on that cheap piece of junk. You do some research and buy a Dyson V8 Absolute during Black Friday because it’s less than $300 and you can’t live like this anymore. You feel proud of yourself, investing in a good vacuum cleaner the way your ex never wanted to do. You already feel cleaner, just making the purchase.
It arrives less than 48 hours after you bought it, free shipping. The assembly is so easy a toddler could do it. Literally easier than legos. You watch a 39 second youtube video of a guy emptying the canister and he’s silent but very clearly communicating in a way your ex never could. It’s so easy.
You charge it. You feel yourself to be simultaneously charging.
Then you start vacuuming. Oh what a revelation. The amount of dog hair and dust that fills the transparent canister is astonishing and the rugs suddenly look new again. Rugs that really never really looked new. You notice that when you vacuum a corner of your bedroom rug a puff of dust arises and you pull back a corner of it to get to the back of the rug. You’re under the rug now, pulling up all that dirt and detritus and it’s so easy and fast and getting clean before your very eyes. Your eyes that are tearing up now because this is worth like a year of therapy.
You empty the cannister into the garbage. Do you take it all the way to the curb? Oh yes, you do. Kick all that previously embedded dirt to the curb, sweetheart. Get it, girl.

Ridiculous for the price

The battery life is horrendous! Takes forever to fully charge and barely got 20 minutes of run time. Couldn't finish vacuuming even half of my 900sq ft apt. And it is definitely not hand/wrist friendly due to having to hold the trigger button the entire time while using it. The only thing I like is it isnt too loud and the suction is good on hardwood floors. Didnt get to test on carpet. Overall though, definitely not worth the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great at cleaning, lightweight and quiet! A few challenges with emptying the bin and changing of heads from hardwood to carpet a bit fussy, just something to get used to I guess!

I really like this little vacuum

I have only had it two weeks but I really like it. I have a small house and I can vacuum the whole thing on one charge with the setting on regular. It is light weight and convenient so my floors get vacuumed a lot more.

Dyson V8 Absolute Max Battery Battery doesn’t last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was soo happy when I ordered Dyson online at the website. I could never afford them for being expensive. I fully charged the battery like it stated for hours before use. I was testing it out on normal mode the suction is not as powerful as the max. I used the max on full charge and only lasted for I think 3 minutes. I’m soo sad 😔 don’t know what to do the battery don’t last have to constantly charge it can’t even clean the house fully until.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great gift for my church !

Volunteers take turns cleaning our church which has many steps leading to the balcony.Not much fun dragging the hose for the built in vacuum !!Such a handy vac for quick cleanups after get togethers-even the young people are happy to help out.Usually don't have to use the extra power and we are amazed at the amount of battery time this vac provide.
