I purchased this vacuum and used it twice. The battery life is terrible. I don't know if it was a bad battery but I'm waiting on my exchange so hopefully this one will work out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the vacuum, wish we would have purchased one a long time ago. Lightweight and very easy to use. Great suction. This replaced an upright Dyson that we also liked very much.

We might own the original Dyson Stick VAC. I finally broke down and bought a new Dyson V8. What a nice stock bad!!! Great suction, improved battery capability, multiple tools and my favorite - the wall mount and charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why did I wait so long?

Over the years, I have purchased many vacuums. This Dyson is by far the best ever. Quiet, incredibly good at picking up pet hair, just amazing. Can’t believe I waited so long to buy a Dyson. Will never go back to the less expensive brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this vacuum! First time I bought a Dyson and love it! The only down side is it doesn’t stay charged for me to vacuum my whole house. And I only have 1000 sq ft. But even with that I love it!
