I love my Dyson V8 I wish it could adjusted to a smaller hand held vacuum.
It does have powerful suction

This is my second Dyson vacuum. I love it so much! I had a V6 and since it needed a new battery pack after 6 years of almost daily use, I decided to upgrade. The new features of the V8 meet all of my needs. The hair removal, upgraded emptying of the canister etc are great. Would recommend a Dyson vacuum for anyone with a need for a 35-40 minute vacuum need.

Pricey vacuum lacking features and battery life

I have had the vacuum for about a month and while it works okay I find that it really needs a light and the battery only lasts around 10 minutes on the max setting. I will be giving this to my daughter and getting something else.

Ripoff - barely lasts 2 years

Bought Dyson V8 in Jan2021 and by Aug2023 battery was almost dead - charge would last barely 30s. It's just a 2-yr warranty. Customer support was of no use either. I would not buy Dyson.

Disappointed that, even after a full charge, the battery didn’t last after a quick (less than 20 minutes) vacuum of my car.
I’ve used one of your first/older models at a family member’s home and on max setting, I can easily vacuum the entire house and have battery to spare.
A very pricey vacuum with little to no power. AND I bought a second as a gift!

Not worth the money

I cannot believe the hype for Dyson vacuums. This vacuum doesn't even deserve one star. I can barely vacuum 30 - 40 square feet before the vacuum needs to be emptied. No matter how many new filters or how many times I clean the filters, it has not solved this problem. Do not spend your hard-earned money on this product.

Has suction!

Am very impressed with the suction when set on high. Is actually hard to push on high with the suction. Normal setting does a very good job. Had a cordless from a different company for years. Worked well but when done I spent 20 minutes cleaning the head before the next vacuum. Haven't had to ever clean the head on the Dyson. Have had for 2 months only but so far very impressed. I would recommend this machine
